SUREN GOYAL

Suren Goyal "The Space Transformer" is a Partner at RPS Group and Founding Chairman of RPS Rudrom Group, alongside his role as Founding Managing Partner of Bricklin Realty Fund. With 25+ years navigating the complexities of land acquisition, business development, marketing, joint ventures, and asset management across India's most competitive markets, Suren has evolved from a core team member at Omaxe Limited to an independent powerhouse creating innovative concepts that blur the lines between real estate, spirituality, tourism, and urban planning.

His academic journey included the Institute of Company Secretaries of India's Foundation Course (1998), IVCA-EVCA's Foundation Course for Investment Professionals (2009), and Management Development Institute Gurgaon's AMP management programme (2008). But perhaps more formative than any degree was his early exposure to business:

"My mother owned a shop," Suren recalls. "From a young age, I learned what it means to work... That hands-on experience in the trenches of business taught me more than any textbook ever could."

Suren's professional journey took decisive shape at Omaxe Limited, where he rose from P.A. to Chairman to GM for Business Development (September 2000 – July 2008), then Business Head for Haryana, Rajasthan, and Delhi (January 2011 – July 2015), and finally President (April 2017 – June 2021), a journey that exposed him to more than 30 cities across India and abroad. His partnership with RPS Infrastructure Ltd. began in June 2021, and by the end of 2024 he founded RPS Rudrom Group to define geographic segregation and streamline operations, working alongside the new generation of RPS leadership, including Aman Gupta and Shashank Gupta.

The flagship achievement of this partnership is RPS Auria, a five-bedroom luxury project in Faridabad conceived four years ago, every unit of which has since been delivered. A believer that real estate is fundamentally about network, Suren has cultivated a network of 2,500+ business partners and holds that "luxury is defined by neighbourhood, not just amenities." Recognising that real estate often requires dual structures, he founded Delhi Consortiums (July 2022) with Mr Ramesh Menon as an agile, individual-capacity counterpart to RPS's corporate structure.

Through Bricklin Realty Fund, a ₹200 Cr (including green shoe) Alternative Investment Fund focused on residential, commercial, plotted, and hospitality assets, he is pioneering institutional capital deployment in distressed and special-situation real estate assets, targeting Delhi development, distressed assets, tier-2 & tier-3 cities, and pre-approval investments. He is also the founder of Rxprt.com, envisioned as India's only marketplace and networking platform exclusively for real estate professionals, and is developing a first-of-its-kind concept in Goa that integrates spiritual tourism with world-class urban planning.

Suren's five-to-ten-year vision favours strategic selectivity over aggressive expansion: eight cities, including Faridabad, Goa, Palwal, and Varanasi, have been identified, with a disciplined one-project-per-city approach designed to prevent overextension. He sees real estate as central to India's development, noting that the sector's contribution to GDP must rise from roughly 7.5% to 12% for India to achieve its 2047 vision as a developed nation.

Beyond business, Suren has, in the last five years, travelled more than in his entire previous career, attending spiritual programmes annually and travelling individually with his son, daughter, and wife to maintain perspective and relationships. He describes himself as "a complete foodie" and believes that at this stage of life, giving brings more joy than taking. His guiding philosophy on business and leadership:

"Don't cut people out of deals. Work to build relationships; nothing exists without a network." To young professionals entering the industry, his advice is direct: patience pays, focus beats diversification, and relationship capital compounds. "Never burn bridges... your reputation is your only real asset in this business."
